
Obituary of Walter B Reverri
Walter B. Reverri, a man whose life was a testament to dedication and generosity, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at the age of 73. Born in Teaneck, NJ to the late Mary (nee Burns) Reverri and the late George L. Reverri, Walter was a endeared figure in his community of Ridgefield Park. Survived by his beloved sister Marianne Wright and her husband Jim, along with George Reverri and his wife Kathy, Gerard Reverri and his wife Lisa, and Michael O. Reverri, and many cherished nieces and nephews, Walter’s warmth and kindness touched all who knew him. For over 15 years, Walter served as a dedicated Truck Driver at Fedway Local in Kearny, earning the respect and admiration of colleagues and friends alike. His commitment extended far beyond his profession. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy, a Eucharistic Minister at St. Francis R.C. Church, a Grand Knight for the Knights of Columbus, and an active member of the Ridgefield Park Hose Company #1, Walter’s spirit knew no bounds. His legacy as a member of the American Legion and the Teamsters Local 807 in Long Island, NY further exemplified his unwavering dedication to his community. An avid golfer and a fervent fan of the N.Y. Giants and N.Y. Mets, never missing a game, especially enjoying the Mets spring training. Walter found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially those spent with his family. A kind hearted soul, Walter’s presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A Visitation in Walter’s honor will be held on Monday, March 17th, beginng at 4 P.M. and concluding at 8 P.M. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Francis R.C. Church on Tuesday, March 18th, beginning at 11 A.M. followed by military honors. Cremation will be private.
