Obituary of Aldo A Barbieri

Aldo A. Barbieri, a longtime resident of Ridgefield Park, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at the age of 86.  Born in Genoa, Italy, Aldo immigrated to the United States in 1983, to marry the love of his life whom he met as a waiter on a cruise ship.  Aldo’s life was a grand tapestry woven with love, laughter, and an unyielding spirit.  He was predeceased by his parents Giuseppina Saltarelli-Randi and Manilo Saltarelli, and his mother and father-in-law Wanda and Theodore Czarcinski and brother-in-law Michael Czarcinski.  He is survived by his cherished wife of 40 years, Dianne (nee Czarcinski), and his adoring children Giuseppina and Mauro (Guisy).  Aldo leaves behind a legacy through his three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.  He also leaves a void in the hearts of his brother Mario (Loredona), Brother-in-law David (Ann), Sister-in-laws Theresa and Darlene and many nieces and nephews.  He will also be sadly missed by his friends especially those who were like family, Pierro Grippo and family, John, Ryan, Barbara Pettit, and Chris Paporters. 

Aldo’s passion for life was evident in his years as a Waiter for 24 years on cruise ships and then on land at Archer’s and Nanni’s restaurants, where his warmth and hospitality were unmatched.  He had a zest for cooking, a love for wine, and a passion for traveling and cruising with family.  He found joy in family game time and serene walks with his dog.  Aldo was a kind hearted person who genuinely cared for everyone around him.  Aldo’s spirit will forever resonate in the lives of all who had the pleasure of knowing him.  The family request that arrangements be private to honor Aldo’s memory.  In lieu of flowers the family asks remembrances be made in Aldo’s honor to a charity of your choice.
