Dear Bill, Billy, Timmy, Karen and Breda- I can't even express how sorry I am to hear this. She was so fun loving and full of craic! I'll always remember our days at the pool and keeping track of everyone. She was generous and kind and always had a mischievous twinkle in her eyes. I'll also remember her countless cups of tea. I'm sure she's having one right now with the angels! I'm so sorry I can't be there myself to say goodbye, so please tell her for me. She was a good woman and will be missed. Dear Willie and family: I met your Mom with your Dad at Slattery's in Dumont back in the '80s, only to learn that we lived a few blocks apart in Ridgefield Park. Marie and Willie always had an open door policy and you could always visit for a quick cupper of tea and to catch up. Marie was also a great cook. She could whip up anything last minute. My favorite was Shepherd's Pie. When I became very ill in 1998 Marie was very helpful along with Willie. We always went to the dances at the Bergen Irish and always had a great time. I will miss her easy spirit and her friendship. We now have another Angel in Heaven to look over her family and friends. RIP Marie and I know you got your Wings! With love, Anne Marie Mitchell xoxo
