Eileen
Tedesco
September 17, 1949 – April 11, 2026
Eileen Tedesco of Ridgefield Park passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, April 11, 2026. A beautiful love story began long ago when, as the family fondly says, “he chased her until she caught him.” From high school sweethearts, Eileen and her beloved husband Tony built a life together that spanned 58 devoted years of marriage, filled with faith, love, and family. Eileen was the heart and matriarch of her family. She led with strength, warmth, and purpose, instilling traditions and values that will live on for generations. Nothing in this world mattered more to her than her family, whom she loved deeply and supported endlessly. For more than fifty years, Eileen cherished family vacations to Wildwood, memories that became a treasured tradition. She also enjoyed trips to Atlantic City, cheering on the Yankees, and a good game of bingo. Her weekends were often spent on the sidelines coaching her daughters in basketball and proudly watching her sons from the stands. She was always present, always encouraging, and always her family’s greatest supporter. Eileen is survived by her devoted husband of 58 years, Tony Tedesco. She was the loving mother of Danielle (Cate), Teresa (Tom), Anthony (Michele), Christina, Kimberly (Dorsett), Matthew (Lourdes), Jacqueline (Ali), and Andrew (Jeffrey). She was the cherished Nonna of Thomas (Dekyi), Antonio, Sura, Elizabeth (Ryan), Anthony, James, Nicholas, Joseph, Mylea, Alicia, Dorsett, Lucia, Tony, Matthew, Joshua, Joey, Callie, Gabriella, and great-grandson Greyson. Eileen is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law Neil and Brenda DalCero, her sister-in-law Ann DalCero, and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, her beloved Oliver. She was predeceased by her parents, Lena and Amerigo DalCero; her brother, Bobby DalCero; and her sister and brother-in-law, Angelina and Tony Morreale.
Visitation in Eileen’s honor will be held on Wednesday, April 15th, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, April 16th at 9:30 AM at St. Francis R.C. Church, Ridgefield Park. Interment will follow at Madonna Cemetery, Fort Lee.
