Cumello, Charles of Ridgefield Park entered into eternal life on Sunday January 28, 2018. Charles served his country in the Army during the Korean War. Until his retirement he worked for 25 years for the Department of Public Works in Ridgefield Park. He was also a proud member of the Ridgefield Park VFW.

 

Charles affectionately known as “Bucky” will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife and “Best Friend” Joan (nee Wasyluk) . They were married for 63 years.

 

Throughout his life he was he was an extremely devoted father to Doreen La Mastro

(Dr.Michael La Mastro, DC), Gina Cumello, and Thomas Cumello (Karen).

Adoring grandfather to Michael (Christina), Janessa (Steven) Marisa and Alexa.

 

Charles took great pride in his home. He loved gardening, working around the house and was a great cook. He loved the Jersey Shore.

 

Charles was a professional gymnast performing on the Ed Sullivan Show and competed at West Point. He was a gymnastics instructor

in Gymnastics World in Nutley, NJ. A professional diver still diving in his eighties!

 

After a private viewing and Mass. Charles was laid to rest at Gates of Heaven Mausoleum in East Hanover.
