Obituary of Patricia McLaughlin

McLaughlin, Josephine "Patricia" (nee McCaffrey) age 94 of Ridgefield Park passed away peacefully on December 16, 2017. Devoted to her family, Patricia, a devout Catholic, was viewed as selfless and giving of herself to all who knew her. Prior to retirement she worked for twenty years at St. Francis Church and School. She also devoted countless service hours to both the school and church from earlier years in the Religious Article Stand, Mothers Guild and the library to later years at The Feast and decorating the church for Christmas.
Beloved wife of the late John A. McLaughlin. Loving mother to John J. McLaughlin and his wife Anne and family, Alyson, Kelly, John, Theresa and Little John, Maureen Marino and her husband David, Kathleen Mastromonica and her husband Michael, Thomas McLaughlin and his wife Kyle, and Patricia Piercy and her husband Jeffrey.Cherished Nana to Jaime and her husband Bjorn, Tim and his wife Molly, Meghan and her husband David, Devin, Ian, Dylan, and Tierney. Great grandmother to Evan, Zoey, Marina, Samantha, and Erica. Caring aunt to many nieces and nephews. Thoughtful friend to longtime neighbors and acquaintances. Patricia is predeceased by her siblings, Ann Probst, Sister Rita Frances, and Virginia Reilly.
Funeral Thursday, December 28, 2017, 9 am from Vorhees Ingwersen Funeral Home, 59 Main Street, Ridgefield Park followed by a 9:30 mass at St. Francis RC Church.  Interment Maple Grove Cemetery, Hackensack. Visitation Wednesday, December 27, from 4-8pm. Vorheesingwersen.com
