Obituary of Douglas Woodrow Lang

~~Lang, Douglas, age 55, of Ridgefield Park formerly of Westchester, NY Passed away on November 14, 2017. Beloved  brother of Diane Henkel and Ellen Lang. Predeceased by his parents Woodrow and Judith Lang, husband of Maureen, and father of Kirstin, Hannah and Sarah, is gone from us. He is sorely missed by those who loved and cared for him.
Douglas grew up in Long Island and eventually moved to Waccabuc ,NY he commuted daily into New York City working on Wall Street in Government Securities, as a senior broker, and Vice President.
Doug went through a lean period when Wall Street itself changed. He then worked for some time at a local hardware store in Cross River, NY. His smiling face and helpful demeanor making friends and drawing business,
Collecting seed samples, fishing, hiking in the woods, being outside in cold weather. Building and repairing almost anything. These were the things he enjoyed. He was also a “GOOD Cook” experimenting in many recipes. Everyone who met Doug liked him. He gave huge bear hugs to his friends and family and had a wicked sense of humor.
 He was a very special and generous soul, and the like of him won’t be in our lives anytime soon. Rest in Peace, Beloved Doug….
