Obituary of Vincent Ferrara

~~Ferrara, Vincent, age 92, of Ridgefield Park, formerly of Union City and North Bergen passed away September 13, 2017. Vincent was born to Giuseppe Ferrara and Dominica Ferrara (nee Ziella). He was a veteran of the United States Navy in World War II, serving in Iran, Europe, and the Pacific. He was employed by Hudson County News Company and the New York Times until his retirement in 1996.
 
Beloved husband of Geraldine Ferrara (nee DeConto), loving father to Joseph Ferrara and his wife Wendy, James Ferrara and his wife Kathy and John Ferrara. Cherished grandfather of four grandchildren, Victoria, Keith, Jessie, and Christian. A private mass will be held at Saint Francis RC Church on Saturday at 11am. Cremation Private. Visitation Saturday 10am-11am for family only at Vorhees Ingwersen Funeral Home, 59 Main Street, Ridgefield Park NJ 07660.
